RCOM To Interlink With Other Providers
TRAI Asked the GSM providers like MTNL ,BSNL Airtel ,Vodafone & others. But Apart from MTNL & BSNL which are the government runned companies who accepted to interlink with RCOM ,Which launced their GSM services earlier this month. But some private BiggieS Like Airtel & Vodafone Were Not interested in this Interlink.But after this statement from TRAI :-
“In case, if any non-compliance found by the GSM players, action would be taken against operators as per the TRAI rules’, warned telecom regulator.
This instruction of TRAI came in the wake of regulator’s observation that some GSM operators are not allowing to open the interconnect codes to RCom which has been allocated to it for beginning its GSM mobile service.
They Left With no choice but to support this interlink.
